Hollin House Hotel Wedding of Dan and Mairi, September 2025

Dan and Mairi held their wedding celebration at  Hollin house hotel, a venue I know quite well. Weddings are always a lot of fun both for me and especially for the couple. This was definitely a fun-filled Anglo-Scottish union, with Mairi’s family coming from Scotland (of course) so  plenty  of kilts were on  show as well as examples of Scottish  dancing and the drinking of the wee drams. Also very evident was a large amount of generosity. I shot some images of Mairi’s uncle and aunt and was offered a shot of whisky (of course) in  gratitude. Normally I  never drink  “on  duty” but in  this case it would have been rude not to. The evening naturally had to end with a ceilidh with a live band.

An extraordinary way to capture the story of your wedding day!

This is my approach to telling your story at the weddings I photograph. If you would like me to tell the story of your wedding, then contact me to discuss how I can do this for you.
