Shrigley Hall wedding of Mike and Linzi

Every time I photograph a wedding, it’s almost like I’m starting from scratch. Of course I am - different couples, different venue, different lighting. So I always have to make the most out of what is to hand and ensure my clients get the best possible story to tell. Mike and Linzi had a civil ceremony and reception at Shrigley Hall. This is a lovely venue and I have worked there before. It has stunning backdrops over Cheshire and for group and couple photos, some great spots, including a lake and a little grotto with a waterfall. However, Mike and Linzi didn’t go for that, wanting instead pure candid/documentary style coverage. Of course, I was delighted, it’s my “USP”. Mike and Linz have two lovely daughters, and it is very obvious how close they all are and how they shared the day’s celebration. Hopefully, my images captured that. Their day included a violinist playing during the ceremony, a Roulette wheel supplied by Laura Powell at “Miss Deal” and a bouncy castle, enjoyed by the children….but as you can see, not exclusively.

An extraordinary way to capture the story of your wedding day!

This is my approach to telling your story at the weddings I photograph. If you would like me to tell the story of your wedding, then contact me to discuss how I can do this for you.
